The year was 1990… punk rock was in danger of growing stale. Who would take the beloved drum-galloping, 3 power chord-playing, hair spray afficionado’d, anti-anything youth to strange new places? Enter ska-punk. Score another point for American exceptionalism in musical appropriation. Except this time, we made it better!

The upchick, the off beat hi-hat chuck, the driving bass, the brass section that looks like they don’t belong - what’s not to love? They all created a magical experience that kept the rude boys [and girls] skankin’.

You’re here because you love a good punk riff and you can tolerate ska. This Label-ish thing has quite a few affiliated bands. Most of them are now defunct, but since yours truly was in them, my vanity can’t allow them to disappear from the internet entirely.  Anyone from the aforementioned bands wanting a cut, I assure you I make no money from this and all my links go to the proper places to actually purchase the music. If you have a band who wants something pressed and some fatherly guidance from an unqualified B-band musician, email me - who knows, maybe you can be my first legit band!
